Hollywood Studios July 2008 at Disney World

Well... After spending 9 days at Walt Disney World in Florida and 8 full days in the parks I knew that there was no way that I could have just one post on Disney World. So... I decided to create a post for each park. That seems to make the most sense. Man...we had the greatest time at Disney World. It was so much fun to share the experience with our friends Jeff and Claire and their 3 kids. What wonderful memories we have. It is so hard to pick our favorite park. Here are the highlights of the new Hollywood Studios...former MGM.

We ate at the 50s Prime Time diner. It was pretty tasty. You have to try the Smores for dessert. YUMMY!!
I am still in shock that Taylor rode the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 3 TIMES!!!! The first time was priceless. The look on her face was of complete terror. The good thing was while waiting for the ride we were chosen to receive one of the 2008 Year of a Million Dream giveaways. We were given dream fast passes for the day at the park. This was on day one of our trip and the first thing in the morning, so it started off great!!! The ride was scary even for adults. It would drop several stories in the dark and then immediately shoot up several stories and then not even slow down and drop immediately. It was different every time and at certain points of the ride the elevator doors would open and you could see out over the park. AWESOME!

Taylor and Brooklyn loved the High School Musical performance. They were chosen out of the audience 3 times to get up and participate. I know they felt very special.
This is from the brand new ride Toy Story Mania. I have to say that it ROCKED THE HOUSE. This was by far Nick's favorite ride. It is 4D aracade game and let's just say if you go to Hollywood Studios it is a must and not just to ride but to get there immediately when the park opens and get a fast pass. Or...the line will be 2 hours long! Of course having me as everyone's personal tour guide made it where we hardly had to wait more than 10 minutes for any ride. Heck... if you need a tour guide I would be more than happy to join you on your vacation if you pay my way. LOL!
