Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day 2008... what a great day it was. My sweet Taylor and Nick bought me a new camera that I have been wanting for some time now. It sure has been fun playing around with it and trying out all the new features.

Sunday morning Nick and Taylor snuck out of the house to pick out some flowers for me and to get me some Starbuck's Coffee. They definitely know the way to my heart. Nick also made me breakfast. All this before he had to leave at 8 to go to church for Kid Jam rehearsal. Sunday afternoon we spent with my mom, Michelle, Jason, Sidney and Jason's mom, Jeanne. We had a nice and relaxing day by the pool with barbecue and other tasty side dishes. I got some cute pictures of Taylor and Sidney in the pool.

Sunday evening we had a lovely dinner with NaNa, PawPaw and Andy at the Black Walnut Cafe. We got a nice table on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Perfect skies and crisp air. What more could you ask for. I enjoyed photographing Taylor while we waited for our food. What a doll she is. I am so thankful for the little miracle God surprised us with 6 1/2 years ago. Boy time flies!

The Schoolar Family is Blogging like CRAZY!

Ok... I was just sitting here updating my other blogs and got to thinking. Why don't I have a family blog so I can keep all of our friends and family in the loop with our crazy lives. So... thus started the Schoolar Family Blog.

This has been a crazy year for us. I would say it started off not so great, but it continues to get better and better. The beginning of 2008 started off with me miscarrying our second baby in less than one year. After a series of tests done in February it appears everything looks good for me. It has been a long tough road for both of us over the past 17 months of trying for #2. We are now working on patience for God's perfect timing. This is a tough lesson to learn.

Nick continues to work at Wells Fargo and is enjoying his job. I am still working at LJA. Of course on the side I am booking vacations for people with my travel agent license. I am also making lots of cakes for people and I have also picked up a new business making tutus and things for little girls. I had my first craft show in March and I would say it was a good success. Obviously we are staying really busy. Nick is also leading a small group every Wednesday. In January Taylor turned the big 6! We threw her a Rock Star party that was a blast!

In March we had the pleasure of taking Taylor and her best friend, Brooklyn, to see HANNAH MONTANA!!!! Thanks to PawPaw who hooked us up with some free tickets. We had a great time. I think the girls were star struck. Check out these photos!!!
